This AI Addendum supplements the Cloud Service Agreement between Provider and Customer. This Addendum consists of: (1) the Cover Page below and (2) the Common Paper AI Addendum Standard Terms Version 1.0, which are incorporated by reference.

Training Data Authorization
Customer Input and Output
Training Permitted: No.
Provider does not use Customer Inputs or Outputs to train, fine-tune, improve, or develop any AI or machine learning models. This prohibition applies to all AI features across all Services.
This commitment is supported by the following technical and contractual guarantees:
- Amazon Bedrock: AWS guarantees that customer inputs and outputs are not used to train foundation models. See AWS Bedrock Data Privacy FAQ.
- Anthropic (via Bedrock): Anthropic has no direct access to Customer Data when accessed through Bedrock. All inference occurs within Provider's AWS account.
- ConKurrence third-party providers: When Customer configures OpenAI or Google Gemini for validation runs, those providers' own data use policies apply. Provider has no control over third-party provider data handling.
Training Data
Not applicable — Provider does not use any Customer Data as Training Data.
Training Restrictions
All training is prohibited. No exceptions.
Output Ownership
Customer Owns All Output
Customer retains all right, title, and interest in Outputs generated by the AI Services from Customer's Inputs. “Outputs” includes:
- Analysis results (findings, confidence levels, citations)
- Generated reports and summaries
- Interview preparation questions
- Gap analysis results
- Validation results and statistical metrics (ConKurrence)
- AI Guide conversation responses
Provider claims no ownership interest in Outputs.
Input Ownership
Customer retains all right, title, and interest in Inputs provided to the AI Services.
Human Oversight Requirements
The AI Services are designed as professional aids, not autonomous decision-makers.
For Nquiry: All AI-generated analyses include quality metrics (faithfulness score, coverage score, retrieval quality) and confidence levels. Customer is responsible for:
- Reviewing AI analysis output before relying on it
- Verifying citations against source evidence
- Making all final determinations (Substantiated, Not Substantiated, Inconclusive)
- Exercising independent professional judgment on all findings
For ConKurrence: Statistical validation results measure model agreement, not ground truth. Customer is responsible for interpreting statistical outputs and making decisions about evaluation quality.
Provider makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI Outputs for any particular purpose. AI Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinations.
Approved Use Cases
The AI Services are designed for use by professionals in investigation, audit, compliance, evaluation, and oversight roles.
Prohibited uses (in addition to Standard Terms restrictions):
- Using AI Outputs as the sole basis for legal, medical, or employment decisions without human review
- Representing AI Outputs as human-authored professional opinions
- Using AI Services to process data of minors without appropriate safeguards
- Using Nquiry AI features for surveillance or monitoring of individuals without lawful authority
